Day 1: Lijiang – Tiger Leaping Gorge – Baishuitai – Niru Village Inn
Tiger Leaping Gorge is one of the narrowest and deepest canyons in the world, and one of the world’s most famous trekking adventure canyon routes. Tiger Leaping Gorge is divided into three sections: Upper tiger leaping, Middle tiger leaping, and Lower tiger leaping, with a total of 18 perilous banks. The river and the boulder fight each other, the mountains roar and the valley roars, and the momentum is extraordinary.
Baishuitai is located in Baidi Village, Sanba Township, southeast of Shangri-La County, at an altitude of 2,380 meters above sea level, and is the birthplace of Dongba Religion of the Naxi people. It is a natural wonder formed by the dissolution of calcium carbonate in the spring water. The spring water containing calcium bicarbonate flows down slowly, the carbonate gradually precipitates, and the mantle is formed over the years, like layers of terraced fields, which is called “the relic field of the immortals”, with an area of about 3 square kilometers, it is the largest Huaquan platform in China.
Day 2: Niru – Colorful Waterfall – Pamu Fairy Cave – Shangri-La Dukezong Ancient City – Shangri-La Hotel
Located in the hinterland of the Three Parallel Rivers, Niru is surrounded by lush green hills and primeval forests. In a place that many people have not heard of, the Tibetans who have lived in Niru for a long time live a leisurely life of working at sunrise and resting at sunset, half-farming and half-pasture. Niru is one of the most biodiverse areas in the world with well-preserved climates such as warm temperate, temperate, cold temperate and boreal zones. There are mountain villages with relatively intact natural ecology and human ecology, and it is known as “the world’s first village”. Niru has a beautiful and primitive landscape, including Nanbao Ranch, Diji Ranch, Xialuge Ranch, Colorful Waterfall, Dingru Lake, Seret Lake, glacial snow peaks, karst caves and rivers, geological diversity, etc.
Pamu is an immortal cave, the cave is full of strange stones, and the stalactites on the ground are shaped like Kanda. There is a stalactite in the hall of the cave, which is regarded as a treasure in the cave by the local people. During the New Year’s holidays, local villagers come here to burn incense and kowtow and pray for good health. It is known as the “Immortal Relic Field”.
Colorful waterfall, spring water falls layer upon layer from the platform, forming a drop waterfall, a line waterfall, a waterfall, under the sunshine, the rainbow surrounds the waterfall, its landscape stone is very peculiar and magnificent, the local Tibetans call this waterfall a divine waterfall. At the Colorful Waterfall, seeing the water flowing on the pristine tundra will really make you think you have arrived in a fairyland. The Huarong fan-shaped platform formed by the giant spring erupting from the cave on the bank of the Niru River forms a rock surface spring with a height of about 30 meters at 180 degrees and a length of 330 meters on the side of the waterfall from the platform, forming a drop waterfall, a line waterfall, and a waterfall, which complement each other with the dense primeval forests and clear rivers around it, and under the sunshine, the rainbow surrounds the waterfall, hence the name Colorful Waterfall!
Day 3: Shangri-La – Abuji Lake – Xiaozhongdian – Lijiang
Abuji Lake “Abuji” Tibetan means “magical place”, is located in the deep mountains of Heping Village, Xiaozhongdian Town, Shangri-La City, Diqing Prefecture, Yunnan Province, with an altitude of about 4,200 meters, surrounded by snow-capped mountains on three sides, and the lake is like a jewel inlaid in the embrace of the mountain, known as the “pure land of Shangri-La”, suitable for hiking. Abuji Lake is located in Shangri-La’s Xiaozhongdian, turn about 9 kilometers from Shangri-La to Lijiang to Shechi Bridge, turn right into Abu Jicuo Road. Abuji Lake has beautiful scenery, along the way through the first temple in Tibet, Dejilin Temple, the first sacred mountain Abuji, at present there are few tourists, only a few travelers come to explore.
